The 2012 Channel 10 Auction Art Preview Exhibit will take place at the Wisconsin Realtors 88th Home & Garden Show at State Fair Park Expo Center March 23rd through April 1st. The show is closed Monday, March 26^th and Tuesday, March 27^th.

The Expo Center is located at 8200 West Greenfield Avenue in West Allis.

Art, antiques, collectibles and sports memorabilia will be on display in the lobby space surrounding the exhibit hall of the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park. Show goers will be treated to advance viewing of items which will be sold at the 2012 Great TV Auction. Art, antiques and collectibles will be on display throughout the walkway with information about the piece. All items will be available for pre-bidding.

2012 MPTV Woodworking & Woodcarving Contest

We are pleased to announce our first ever Woodworking and Woodcarving Contest. This contest will take place in conjunction with the 2012 Great TV Auction which airs live on Milwaukee Public Television April 27 – May 5. We are excited for this contest and hope you will consider entering.

We have two categories. The first category is the Functional Woodworking Category which will feature items such as furniture, tools, bowls and other functional items.

The second category is our Artistic Woodcarving Category which will feature items that are decorative in nature and are to be displayed and admired as art.

First Place prize in each category – $200 cash prize and featured “Host Board” item during prime time on the opening night of the Great TV Auction

Second Place prize in each category – $100 cash prize and featured “Host Board” item during prime time on the Great TV Auction

Third Place prize in each category – $50 cash prize and featured “Host Board” item during prime time on the Great TV Auction

The Mister Geppetto Viewers Choice – $100 cash prize and featured “Host Board” item during prime time on the last night of the Great TV Auction

We accept collectibles, wine, artwork, antiques, unused gift cards, certificates (for merchandise, dining, services, hotel and resort stays), new merchandise and timeshares. If you have an item that you think might be a good auction item, just give us a call.

Donating to the Auction is easy. Just download a donation form, fill it out and mail-in or drop-off your donation. If you have an item that you need picked up, just give us a call at #262-781-4998 or email donate@greattvauction.com with Pick Up in the subject of your email.
